Yes, we do offer hardwood floor refinishing. We use a vacuum-assisted system to help contain dust during the sanding process, making the job cleaner and more comfortable for your home. We also offer both oil-based and water-based polyurethane finishes, so you can choose the look and performance that best fits your space.

Yes, in many cases vinyl flooring can be installed over existing tile, as long as the tile is in good condition. The surface should be clean, level, and free of loose or cracked tiles. Depending on the type of vinyl, grout lines or uneven areas may need to be filled first to create a smooth base.

We’d be happy to take a look at your space and recommend the best approach based on the condition of your current floor and the vinyl product you’re considering.

Countertop, Stone and Cabinet Questions

Granite and quartz are both beautiful countertop options, but the main difference is that granite is a natural stone while quartz is an engineered surface made from natural quartz and resins.

Because granite is natural, each slab is one of a kind and has more variation in pattern and color. Quartz tends to have a more consistent look and is non-porous, which makes it very low maintenance. Granite is also very durable, but it typically needs to be sealed periodically to help protect against staining.

If you’re deciding between the two, granite is a great choice for a more natural, unique appearance, while quartz is ideal if you want a sleek look with easier everyday maintenance.

Quartz countertops are made from natural quartz crystals combined with resins, polymers, and pigments to create a durable, engineered surface.

In simple terms, quartz gives the countertop its strength, while the added materials help bind it together and create a wide range of colors and patterns. The result is a non-porous, low-maintenance surface that offers the look of natural stone with added consistency.

Quartzite is a natural stone formed when sandstone is exposed to intense heat and pressure over time. This process makes it extremely hard and durable, with a look that often resembles marble but with greater strength.

Because it is a natural material, each slab of quartzite has unique color variation and veining. It’s a popular choice for homeowners who want the beauty of natural stone with a more durable surface for countertops and other applications.

Our cabinets are built for both durability and everyday function. All of our cabinets feature plywood box construction, along with soft-close doors and drawers for a smoother, quieter feel. The drawers are also made with dovetail construction, which adds strength, quality, and long-term durability.

Yes, in many cases you can replace your existing countertops without removing or replacing your cabinets. As long as the cabinets are in good condition and properly installed, new countertops can often be added as a standalone upgrade.

Yes, but in most cases the replacement will need to be a drop-in sink. That type of sink can typically be installed without modifying the countertop as extensively as other sink styles.

Usually not without modifying the cabinet. Farmhouse sinks require a different cutout and support structure, so cabinet changes are typically needed to accommodate the new sink properly.
